About Olive Blossom Soap Co.

Founded in 2016 in Chillicothe, Ohio, Olive Blossom Soap Co. is a small-batch, artisan soap and skincare brand that celebrates tradition, quality, and care. Every bar of soap is made the old-fashioned way using the cold process method, with at least 50% olive oil and a careful four-week cure to ensure a gentle, long-lasting bar.

We believe in full transparency—every product includes a complete ingredient list—and in making everything from scratch. No pre-made bases, no filler oils, no shortcuts. When possible, we choose organic and local ingredients, along with high-quality oils, butters, milks, beeswax, and clays. Our colorants are ethically sourced mineral powders, and we carefully select sustainable essential oils and the most natural fragrance oils available. Our products are phthalate-free, palm-oil-free, paraben-free, and most are vegan-friendly.

Maggie, the founder, brings over 20 years of soapmaking experience and is a licensed massage therapist and aromatherapist. Her background in healthcare, herbology, holistic healing, and aromatherapy informs every product she creates. Olive Blossom Soap Co. is also a family affair. Maggie’s daughters and significant other often help in the studio, continuing a creative legacy passed down through five generations of soapmakers. Products are made in the same creative space her mother and grandmother used - her small, stone cottage home studio.
